Language Informal Assessment #2
$15.00
This product is for everyone who loves the original Language Informal Assessment and wants additional stories, core standards and information to re-test students!
This informal assessment is a fabulous way to compare a student’s language skills to the Common Core State Standards. The assessment typically takes 15-20 minutes and can be used as part of a full evaluation, or to measure progress over time. All questions are directly related to the common core, including:
SL.2: Recount or describe ideas or details from verbally presented materials
SL.3: Ask and answer questions
SL.4: Describe familiar people, things, and places
SL.6: Express ideas clearly
L.1: Use correct grammar
L.5: Determine and clarify meanings of unknown and multiple-meaning words.
L.5: Understand word relationships
“Language Informal Assessment #2” is a unique assessment because it assesses students at their current levels and can be also used to compare to the grade-level standard.
Level 1 (Kindergarten-1st grade CCSS level)
Level 2 (2nd-3rd grade CCSS level)
Level 3 (4th-5th+ grade CCSS level)
“Language Informal Assessment #2” differs from the original Language Informal Assessment in that it provides new stories and targets. Levels 2 and 3 also focus on different parts of the standard than the first Assessment did. Like the original assessment, this informal assessment requires only 2 pages to be printed out before the assessment begins. Answers are directly inputted to the pdf during the assessment and can be printed immediately.

FEEDBACK:
❤️ “Wow, I love this informal assessment! It is great for screenings for the ever-growing number of intervention students I have. I also like to use it as a supplement for the CELF, which does not always pick up deeper language difficulties by itself. Well done!”
❤️ “This is a MUST for all SLPs. I have used it already and it is Monday morning! It is a comprehensive resource to gather and use immediately for progress reports, annual review or as a supplement to standardized testing. Thank you!!!”
