October 2015 Lesson Plans

I love planning for October! It is so much fun to do Halloween and monster activities with my students (even though I really don’t even celebrate Halloween myself).

  1. I have included my “warm up” and homework activities within the lesson plans.
  2. I have added new lesson plans for Articulation (divided by age level).
  3. I have divided my social skills lessons into age levels/functional levels so there are now two.

I hope you find these as awesome and useful as my assistants and I do! Click on any of the images to link to the FREE lesson plans on TpT!

  1. As a new SLP, I really appreciate your lesson plans. They are so detailed and helpful when planning my own therapy sessions. I am curious if you still use a lot of literature based based therapy? I read your post from a few years ago about using a single book and making 8 lessons (or a whole month) out of it. I noticed that your October lesson plans include reading a book for a few of the levels, but don’t seem to include using a book as extensively as described in your post “Literature-Based Speech Therapy.”

Again, thank you so much for sharing these lesson plans with us!!
