How I organize my coupons

My wonderful colleagues provide me with extra coupons from the Sunday paper. I put all coupon booklets from the week into a sheet protector, label the top page with the date, and put it in a LARGE 3 ringed binder.

Then when I learn from a websites (such as MoneySavingMom or CentsibleShopper) about a deal, I look it up on HotCouponWorld and find out exactly what date the coupon was put out and in what coupon booklet (SS= Smart Source, RP= Red Plub, etc). You can find this resource by registering at hotcouponworld and then go to the “coupon database” under the “Coupon Resources” drop down menu.

Only after I know exactly what booklets contain the coupons I want, do I cut them out. This way I can skip the weekly laborious task of clipping hundreds of coupons that I will probably never use.

Now that you’ve read my attempt at explaining, check out Hand Prints on the Wall, she does an AWESOME job of explaining the same thing! Hee hee! Made you read mine first. ๐Ÿ˜‰
