Auctionable Cookies. Month 3.
To my son’s shock and horror, the cookie he had reserved for himself disappeared during the school day. You know, after the rest of the batch was given to the auction winner.
Oops! Guess mommy should have mentioned to the family that the cookie was off-limits.
I owe him another cookie. Or 3.
1 cup butter
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
3 cups flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1/4 tsp. salt
1. Combine ingredients in mixer
2. Roll into balls
3. Roll balls in a bowl of cinnamon-sugar
(4. optional step- Refrigerate for 30 minutes to firm)
5. Bake at 375 for 12 minutes
I am a cookie FREAK! Thanks for the recipe!

Those cookies remind me of a fundraiser we had at church! I made sooooo many dozens of them that my kids ended up getting sick from eating them! LOL!

Mmmmmmmmmm, I can smell them baking and I can taste the cinnamon right now. Oh be still my heart. Can I outbid the winner? No? I’m sure they’re all gone by now.

Mmmm! We are going to my MIL’s this weekend and she always makes us cookies and she is making Snickerdoodles! Oh they are so delicious and chewy…and a little evil because you cannot just eat ONE. So, yeah, you probably owe your little guy 3. LOL
Oh, that is one of my favorite recipes. I used to make them every year for my dad for his birthday! Thanks for reminding me to break out that mixer!
