Polar Express (Speech Therapy Book Companion)
“Polar Express Book Companion” is a fun way to get ready for the holidays while using amazing children’s literature! In addition to a variety of mixed articulation words from the book, there are three language sections in this product, divided by skills level. Each section includes multiple activities and worksheets including: flash cards, and games.
The book is not included in this download.
I highly recommend putting each section into a page protector sleeve and then clipping all of the sleeves together. This method of organization makes it very easy to find and organize your materials.
“Polar Express Book Companion” allows the educator to use the same book with almost every student on their caseload. Activities and worksheets are divided into the following levels:
Level 1: language skills in the K-1st grade common core state standards
Level 2: language skills in the 2nd-3rd grade common core state standards
Level 3: language skills in the 4th-5th% grade common core state standards
All activities and worksheets are aligned with Common Core State Standards:
CCSS.ELA-Literacy.SL.1 Participate in conversations
CCSS.ELA-Literacy.SL.3 Ask and answer questions, summarize
CCSS.ELA-Literacy.SL.6 Express thoughts clearly and in complete sentences
CCSS.ELA-Literacy.L.1 Use standard English grammar
CCSS.ELA-Literacy.L.4.4 Define and clarify new vocabulary
This is the perfect book companion for a beloved book during a festive time of year!
