Photo of the Week

$15.00

“Photo of the Week” provides the SLP or educator a routine for the classroom. Students begin or end each session with a photo of the week, or use the worksheets for weekly practice.

Students develop the skills to answer questions about common social skills goals (understanding feelings of self and others, problem-solving), articulation carry-over, and speaking/listening and language aligned with Common Core State Standards:

CCSS.ELA-Literacy.RL.3 Identify/describe characters, settings, and events
CCSS.ELA-Literacy.RL.9 Compare and contrast
CCSS.ELA-Literacy.SL.1 Participate in conversations
CCSS.ELA-Literacy.SL.3 Ask and answer questions
CCSS.ELA-Literacy.SL.4 Describe people, places, things, and events
CCSS.ELA-Literacy.SL.6 Express thoughts clearly and in complete sentences
CCSS.ELA-Literacy.L.1 Use standard English grammar
CCSS.ELA-Literacy.L.6 Use new vocabulary

“Photo of the Week” is a unique program because it provides the opportunity to easily differentiate for individuals within the group. Although all students use the same high quality, multi-cultural photos, posters, and worksheets are divided into the following levels:

Level 1 (Kindergarten-1st grade CCSS level)
Level 2 (2nd-3rd grade CCSS level)
Level 3 (4th-5th+ grade CCSS level)
Social (social skills and problem-solving)
Articulation (target sound and carry-over practice)

FEEDBACK:

❤️ “I love a product I can use all year long! This has helped me establish a routine in my speech room- I always start with photo of the week. Thanks a bunch!”

❤️ “This product is so perfect. I have it sitting on my table at all times. The kids come in and they know exactly what to look for. The want to start telling me the words and names they’ve found the instant they come in. If I ever forget to flip the page at the beginning of the week, they let me know right away. A great, practical product.”
