Vowels
I love some of the things my students come up with.
One of my students, who has autism, often echos things he has already heard (echolalia). He also loves to sing.
I was leading a rousing rendition of “Old McDonald Had a Farm” when he loudly re-worded the chorus with something he’s apparently heard before.
Old McDonald had a farm
A-E-I-O-U
Go on.
Sing it.
I know you wanna!
Guess how I’m teaching The Flash his vowels now? ๐
My daughter learned that song in Nursery school, too!
Okay, now THAT song is stuck in my head.
You’re awesome CC.
That is such a cool idea ๐
I was singing it before you even asked.
That’s awesome. My son used to sing “twinkle twinkle little star, eieioh!”
Oh, genius! I’m going to remember that one!
That’s a great idea!!! Yeah, I’m singing it now. hehehe
That really does work!
Great idea!

What a great site! I love the toy and video reviews–I hadn’t seen the LeapFrog item–that is awesome! Sure wish we had something like that when 4 of 8 was a little younger!
Blessings!
