It’s not that I’ve forgotten

…how to blog.

It’s just that since my last post I’ve had 34 IEP meetings, 2 permissions to test, 2.5 all-day trainings, 1 personal day (to attend a field trip with my son), 6 in-building professional meetings, 4 SLP small-group meetings, and 7 behavior meetings. All this within the last 32 school days. All while trying to serve 61 students.

So I’m a little tired.

Just a little.

I hope to post my zoo unit next week (I’m still in school until mid-June), but in the mean-time, here are some great quotes to ponder:

No pessimist ever discovered the secrets of the stars, or sailed to an
uncharted land, or opened a new heaven to the human spirit. (Helen  Keller)

Language shapes the way we think, and determines what we can think  about. (Benjamin Lee Whorf)

  1. Oh, I can so relate to that!! Total craziness, and when it comes close the end, it seems that it will never end! Best of luck to you!

  2. Oh…I can relate..i have had a similar month…add pack up your entire office to move by next Friday which is our last day in this building. We come back for a week of school in July (preschool can’t have more than 3 weeks off at a time) in our new (old, smaller) place. Unpack, um….., in between kids I guess because I refuse to go in on my break. Oh…and I am moving to 1/3 the space….Into a room with no ac and questionable heat. (There is a fan marked heat dangling from the ceiling…no actual heaters buikt in like the classrooms). I am pretty sure my new area is formerly a storage room. Thank goodness it is summer and I can take out my frustration on the yard work!

  3. I yiyi. That is an insane amount of work. I take my hat off to you.
